My biggest surprise in this adventure of creating and promoting the Big Link Rally has been how challenging it’s been to get you on the phone to talk about your calling.

Do you resist being who you are? In what way do you resist?

Resistance is everything less than fully accepting the core truth of who you are. Resistance is running away from, complaining about, avoiding decisions on and doubting your own authentic destiny.

We tend to think too absolutely. It’s such a big deal to launch a business around the foundation of our true calling that we often hold back because we think it’s a matter of all or nothing.

We somehow imagine that if we’d really identified our calling we’d feel more fired up and confident. Who says? That hasn’t been my experience. Even considering a true calling is frightening.

I’ve been thinking about you this morning. I’ve been thinking about how much you really want to solve out of your work fulfillment and money challenges.

I truly want to help you end your confusion, suffering and dismay around work and money. I want that for you from the bottom of my heart.

I want you to know that when certainty of calling appears – natural, abundant confidence and enthusiasm come along for the ride. Everyone wants to work with folks who are delightfully high on life.

I understand that your fear around the responsibility of actually following a true calling. I’ve felt that fear and it shifts once you recognize your power to do good things.

Some of you fear your capacity to follow through and succeed. Some of you question if you’re wise enough or strong enough to make a difference.

Are true callings really found? Finding implies the action of searching as if an already existing true calling is waiting to be found.

But what if determining your true calling was more effectively invited than found? What action would inspire a calling to reveal itself? Or is it initially less doing and more being a certain way that brings a calling forth?

First be authentic to become courageous. First be authentic to become fulfilled. First be authentic to become wealthy. Authenticity enriches everything.  Faking it is ineffective and emotionally costly.
