Tom, this is such a great post! What a great story to share, and it really leaves a lasting impression!

I think for me authentic action is: Encouraging others. Bringing comfort and serving up refreshment whether it is words, homeade food or a simple drink to lonely hearts and to those who feel weak.

you’re great, Tom! I appreciate you sharing your gifts of empowering others to pursue their authentic calling!
It has made such a difference in my life to feel that platform even for a few moments and to experience the confidence to embrace MORE. I also prayed that braveheart prayer today! thanks!

I’m about to tackle the grocery shopping – a chore I’ve put off so long we’re looking like Mother Hubbard around here. I think I’ll see how many smiles I can pass out. So, I guess that means that video can move me to authentic action, for one.

Evan – Funny, I call anger my “good mad” determination. But you’re right it can get us going. Many wonderful creations happened because folks were pissed off about something! You’ve shared a good list here. Curiosity is powerful, as well as delight. But I think that a vision is most sustaining.

Sometimes impatience and anger (this for the initial burst, I don’t find it sustaining). Sometimes delight and joy. Sometimes just curiosity and following my nose. Sometimes being caught up by a vision of what could be.
